Change your Address for Tax Bills

The County Treasurer's office is thought of as the keeper of county funds and the tax collector.  The Treasurer's office maintains all records relating to property, including:

• assessment information
• property descriptions
• title transfers
• parcel splits
• assignment of new tax parcel numbers

The duties of the County Treasurer are defined by Wisconsin State Statutes and rules and policies set by the County Board.  Those duties include:

• receipt and disburse monies from all sources
• keep accurate financial records
• produce and print tax bills
• collect postponed and delinquent real extate taxes
• maintain accurate records of all tax collections

The County Treasurer also excercises investment authority as delegated by the County Board.

The Treasurer's office maintains at least 15 years of information that is available to the public.  Questions often handled in the office regarding property include:

• ownership
• parcel number
• assessed value
• fair market value
• amount of taxes
• tax payment history
• delinquent taxes
• copies of tax bills
• ag use penalty 

Also available to the public are parcel maps for inspection or purchase.  Maps are available with or without an aerial photo background.
